What you earn
Commission scales with the size of the project, based on its value in USD. You're paid in step with us — as each client payment lands, your share follows.

Projects below $500 don't qualify for a commission.

15%
of the project value, paid as we're paid.
$5,000 and up
20%
of the project value, capped at $2,500 per referral.
The 20% rate is capped at $2,500 per referral. Commission applies to fixed-scope projects only — retainers and recurring services aren't eligible.

What counts, what doesn't
A "project" means a defined scope, clear deliverables, and an end date. Here's the plain English version.
Counts
- Fixed-scope projects with defined deliverables and an end date
- Example: "Build a SaaS dashboard for $8k, delivered by July"
- New clients who haven't signed with ByteHiveBB in the last 12 months
- Your employer — as long as you're not the decision-maker on the purchase
Doesn't count
- Retainers and recurring services ($2k/mo support, $500/mo SEO)
- Any project under $500
- Self-referrals where you own or decide the purchase
- Clients who signed a ByteHiveBB contract in the last 12 months
